Children between 4 and 13 years of age (unfortunately we had to cancel the program as we had only 2 requests)
There will be a special programme for children between the ages of 4 and13 taking place during the conference in Marburg. It has been organised in collaboration with the Green School of the Marburg Botanical Garden (http://www.uni-marburg.de/botgart/gruene_schule) where Mrs Demuth (a biologist) has arranged a daily programme of special events at the Botanical Garden. Visits to the old castle and the old town, as well as a mini golf event, are also included. Children may participate for half- or full-days and can attend as many days as required during the conference. Childcare for Children under 4 years
The "Mütterzentrum Marburg" (http://www.muetterzentrum-marburg.de) will offer on-site childcare during the four days of the conference. Please note that there will be the possibility to change diapers and nurse children in the care room, however, all food, drink and diapers required while the children are being cared for must be provided by yourself.
In order to organise the childcare and ensure the presence of sufficient carers, it is necessary for you to specify any childcare needs prior to the conference. Please e-mail the conference office info@gtoe-atbc2009.com to inform us of your requirements, i.e. whole day / half day / for which hours during the day / on which days during the conference and for how many children, their name(s) and age(s).
Cost of childcare: we will endeavour to keep costs as low as possible. The more children we can welcome in our group, the lower the costs will be. Costs will be determined when we know the final number of children requiring care assistance.
